B2B Rider Training was founded in 2002 by Darren Smith due to the number of motorcycle fatalities on Irish roads. Having lost a number of friends to single vehicle accidents Darren decided that it was necessary to start educating riders on their own vulnerability and their responsibilities to family and friends.

B2B run a number of courses ranging from beginners courses to pre-tests and onward to advanced training with the DIA advanced course. B2B recognises that there are many riders out there continuously seeking to improve their standard of riding and offer a range of courses to suit their needs within Mondello Park and on the public road network. From novice to track to advanced road riding, B2B have it covered.

The company's instructors are all highly experienced and qualified to train people in preparation for the RoSPA, DIA and IAM advanced tests. Four of our B2B's instructors are local Training Officers with Star Rider, qualified to instruct and examine pupils on the award winning Star Rider Gold Course. B2B also count among their number the only two DIA Examiners in Ireland. The Diamond test is the latest and toughest addition to the advanced motorcycle testing in Ireland. B2B work extensively with RoSPA and their two Irish examiners and have also helped train the vast majority of RoSPA advanced riders in the country.

All B2B instructors have been trained by the Star Rider (Fingal) Motorcycle Training Scheme the only bike training scheme in the country to win the National Safety Council Road Safety Endeavour Award and the NSC overall award (2003). Two instructors are local Training Officers while the remainder of the team are silver course instructors with the scheme. All B2B instructors are highly qualified instructors and examiners with full details of their qualifications available from B2B. As an indication of the quality standards employed by B2B, one of our instructors is the author of 'This is your Bike', the publication referred to within the Rules of the Road publication as a guidline on more detailed information regarding motor cycle safety. What better endorsement is there?

On track, our instructors also carry impressive qualifications with a number of current and ex-motorcycle racing competitors employed in the ranks. Their experience ranges from the Irish Clubman Championship to the Senior race at the Manx Grand Prix. Other services offered by B2B include delivery of motorcycles to new owners homes and provision of initial motorcycle training if required at your residence.
