THE CHEQUERED FLAG COURSE

The 'Chequered Flag' course offers a more advanced and detailed experience with the benefit of intensive one-to-one tuition. This exhilarating course will suit drivers who wish to improve their skills, are looking to move into competitive motorsport or simply want to experience the challenge and excitement of the Mondello Park National circuit.

On arrival at Mondello Park you will be greeted by a member of our team for registration. Once you have been signed in, and fitted with your 'Safety Direct' helmet and race suit, you will be ready to start your course which takes place on the Mondello Park National Circuit. Following a comprehensive briefing, covering safety, driving techniques and track discipline, you will be introduced to your personal racing instructor to begin the ultimate motorsport experience.

The Chequered Flag course is positioned in the Mondello Park pit garage and hospitality complex and, unlike the Startline and Home Straight, it is run for a single group of nine drivers. The Course is only available to drivers who have successfully completed either the Mondello Park Startline or Home Straight course, or a similar race school course, or can provide evidence of previous motorsport experience. The course takes place on the Mondello Park National Circuit which is used for both National and International motorsport events. The duration of the Chequered Flag course is approx 3 hours.

The Chequered Flag course includes;

• Detailed safety briefing
• 32 Laps of the Mondello Park National Circuit
• Advanced classroom instruction
• Intensive one-to-one tuition with your instructor driving first before you take the wheel of a race prepared Mazda3
• An extended run in the Formula Sheane split into two sections with a short break to discuss your progress with your instructor and work on any problem areas
• Extensive debrief including information on competing in Motorsport

Terms and Conditions
1. Mondello Park Limited (MPL) reserves the right to cancel any course due to unforeseen circumstances including adverse weather conditions. In that event, the course holders are advised to contact the Mondello Park office to arrange an alternative date.
2. All courses are non-refundable and must be used by the expiry date printed on the course voucher. Vouchers are only transferable by prior agreement of Mondello Park.
3. Due the high demand for courses, MPL recommends that a course holder books at least three months before the expiry date printed on their voucher.
4. Any course holder who fails to attend a pre-booked course, without having provided at least 72 hours prior notice to MPL, will render their course null and void.
5. MPL reserves the right to refuse a voucher holder admittance to a course, if MPL deem the voucher holder to be unsuitable, or under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
6. MPL reserves the right to stop a voucher holders course at any stage, if MPL deem the driving of the voucher holder unsuitable on safety grounds.
7. Under any circumstances, Mondello Park Limited's maximum liability to any course holder is limited to the cost of the course.
8. All drivers must be a minimum of 18 years of age, be capable of driving a manual gearbox car and be in possession of a current driving Licence, which must be produced when they sign on for their course.
9. All course holders will be required to sign an indemnity and risk awareness before being admitted on a course and will be assumed to have made themselves fully aware of the contents of the indemnity/risk awareness prior to signing it.
10. Spectators are welcome, but course participants are asked to bring no more than two spectators each without first contacting the Mondello Park office.
11. Due to size restrictions with our cars, people of non-average height or build should contact Mondello Park prior to purchase of a voucher or attendance for their course.
12. If a voucher holder damages a vehicle during a course, the course will be terminated at that point
13. Vouchers that have expired, within three months of the expiry date printed on the voucher, can be reactivated for a further term. A fee of 25% of the current course price will be charged for reactivating the voucher.
