Race Weekend Format 2011 (may be subject to change for 2012)
The 'Adelaide Masters Series' event timetable is designed to give spectators the best day out possible by concentrating the feature classes along with the Two-Stroke, Sidecar and one other support race, into the prime viewing time between 14:00 and 16:30 on Sunday. The feature races for Superbike and Supersport, and Grand Final will include grid interviews and podium presentations. All other classes will run before and after these feature classes.
Each class races three times over the weekend. Following qualifying on Saturday morning, the afternoon sees each class race for the first time. Sunday morning starts with a warm up before the second race with the third and final race of the weekend for each class taking place after lunch.
Grand Final
At the first three Mondello Park Championship events there will be a grand final which will be open to all solo classes. The top thirty riders, based on lap times in their races, will be offered a spot on the Grand Final grid. For the last event of the season, the 'Mondello Masters', the final will be by invitation only. Riders will qualify for an invitation based on their performances in the finals at the first three events of the season with additional riders invited to join the grid. At all four events the final will be the only race of the day where riders will be racing for prize money. For all other races there will be an end of season prize fund.
