MONDELLO PARK CLUBMAN MOTORCYCLE EVENTS 2012

Mondello Park will host four rounds of the Irish National Clubman Motorcycle Racing Championship during 2012, an increase of one event from last year. As an additional incentive to Clubman riders they will also get to race at one event on the International circuit this season alongside three National track events.

The Clubman championship is only for 'Clubman' grade riders and newcomers and takes place over a number of rounds at Mondello Park and at Ulster circuits. The Clubman series is highly popular amongst competitors who are in the early stages of their motorcycle racing careers as they do not have to come up against the faster National grade riders. Riders who perform well in Clubman races over a full season can however find themselves promoted to 'National' grade the following year and are then no longer elegible to race at 'Clubman' level.

Clubman riders seeking additional experience can compete against all-comers in the 'Adelaide Masters Series'. In this championship there is the added incentive of a 'Cup' class in the Superbike and Supersport classes for 'Clubman' grade riders and this champiosnhip has its own separate TV coverage, podiums & awards.
