2012 MONDELLO PARK MOTORCYCLE RACE EVENTS

For the second year in a row Mondello Park will promote the ADELAIDE MASTERS SERIES, working with Motorcycling Ireland's Short Circuit Committee to promote short circuit racing in Ireland.

For this season the ADELAIDE MASTERS SERIES. will expand to five events taking in its fiorst non-Mondello Park races when it visits Bishopscourt Co. Down in August. The fourteen round championship will run over four triple header dates with a double header at Bishopscourt. As with 2011 the grand final at each event will carry substantial prize money while TV coverage will expand to a series of hour long programmes. The championship will follow roughly the same format introduced in 2011 with the Superbike and Supersport classes being open to all riders and containing a separate 'Cup' class open only to existing 'Clubman' grade riders and newcomers.

In addition to the Adelaide Masters Series Mondello Park will host four clubman champiosnhip events, an increase of one from last season, with the new Mondello Park Sports Club taking charge for two of those. The season will commence with the third annual 'Nifty Fifty' Motorcycle Endurance race for Honda 50's and other step through motorcycles up to 90cc.
