What is the Mondello Park Track Team?

The Mondello Track Team is a key part of the organisation and operation of Car Race Events at Mondello Park. There are a number of different elements to the Mondello Park Track Team which has two categories, on-track and off track.

On-Track team members provide flag, fire and incident marshalling at events, as well as manning the fast intervention vehicles used to handle incidents during live races and safety car periods. Off-Track team members work within the paddock assembly, pit lane, race start, race administration and results positions.

The Mondello Track Team is a voluntary club. Members are not paid for their involvement, but there is a reward system whereby members score points for committing to events in advance, attending on the day and participating in training sessions etc. As each level on the point’s ladder is reached, various rewards become available. In addition, lunch is provided at events and there is a complimentary drink and snacks at the end of the day.

The Mondello Park Track Team is not only an exciting and Interesting way to get involved with Motorsport, but it also includes a strong social element, both at events and away from race weekends.
